Qualifying heats for the MX portion of this year's championship began this morning on a beautiful Gatorback MX Park. Despite the holidays, racing preceded because scheduled, here are a few images from the day time.

First heat of the day, Carter Halpain and Zane Merrett had a great battle in the 250B Limited class first division. Halpain won the race and transferred straight to the primary event later this week.

Just like they did yesterday for the SX final, Seth Dennis and Mikah Carpenter would find each other and battle the entire moto with Dennis finishing first. The final with this class should be exciting later this week.

Jesse Flock was throwing this down in the first division associated with Schoolboy 1 12-16 B/C. However, it wasn’t enough to pass Marcus Phelps who was the Heat 1 winner.

A fantastic battle that lasted the duration of the 85cc 12-13 restricted between Jace Kessler and Kaeden Amerine. Kessler held off Amerine long enough to win the first warmth.
