Alpinestars swung by our offices to give a little sneak peek into what they have planned for 2017. Here are some cool new color options for existing shoes or boots, some new styles, and some excellent boots from the ground up. A new colorway among twelve for the Tech 7 and Tech 7 Enduro combined.
We’ve spent a lot of time in the Technology 7 Boot and it has been an absolute crowd pleaser. What is new regarding ’17 are some cool colorways including this navy/orange/black. What makes the Tech 7 such a good boot for the money is that it has a very high level of comfort plus mobility without giving up much defense. Yeah, a Tech 10 could be a little more supportive and offer a bit more security, but some riders just want a lot more movement and feel than a 10 and the 7 provides that. You can view quite a few pros now opting for the Tech 7 because of this, and because they are lighter than a Tech 10.
Tech 7S Boot: $199. 95

The new-from-the-ground-up Tech 7S youth boot!
We aren’t sure what the “S” means but the Tech 7S is an all-new youth boot that features all of the tech and materials of the adult seven, just from sizes 2 to 8. It also features one less buckle. The Tech 7S has the biomechanical hinge system, the one item injected foot shell with incorporated steel shank, and the same belt buckle style as the Tech 7, eight, and 10.
Tech 1 All Landscape Boot: 199. 95

The Tech 1 IN has an off-road style sole regarding better off-the-bike grip.
This is the same as the Tech 1 Boot introduced last year but it has an all-terrain replaceable sole. This means that it offers a lugged pattern like a function boot. If you are unfamiliar with the Technology 1, it still has some of the nicer features of it’s premium costed brothers like the “flexi-blade” inner ankle joint pivot and the same-style of buckle closures.
Corozal Adventure Drystar Oiled Buckskin: $299. 95
Belize Drystar Oiled Leather-based: $259. 95

New waterproof and breathable ADV boots.
Here are 2 all-new boots for 2017. Hopefully y’all are ready for some adventure because these are! On the outer ankle region, there is the “flexi-blade” system, large plastic-type shin protection, two buckle drawing a line under system, steel shank in the insole, and vulcanized rubber compound singular for grip and durability. The Drystar membrane is a breathable yet waterproof barrier between the outer part of the boot and the inner lining. Overall these two boots are designed to be more flexible and more comfortable off the bike than 100 % pure off-road boots. The Belize Boot has the same features, just a smaller profile. If you want to save $10 bucks on both you can opt for the black PU coated leather color.
Tech T Shoe: $349. 95

New colorways for those trials enthusiasts out there.
This tests boot is the footwear of choice for trials legend Toni Bou. As well as for 2017, nothing is changing but the colorways offered. Following the trend in the moto world, some high-viz and pops of red have crept their own way into the color palate of trials riders. If you’ve never worn a trials boot, they are as close to a sneaker as you will need a motorcycle boot to be. The only is incredibly grippy and there are tons of flexibility and bike feel.
